Jewelry Care

Our jewelry is made with natural gemstones; unless otherwise specified, please be sure to avoid direct contact with makeup, liquids, cleaners, and chemicals. Chlorine exposure (swimming pools and hot tubs) is especially notorious for turning sterling silver dark. It is recommended to remove jewelry before you get in.  14k gold-filled is not affected by chlorine exposure.  

Darkening (oxidation) of the sterling silver surface is to be expected over time, especially if jewelry is not worn. If desired, polish the piece with a silver polishing cloth.
